ASD Parent Coach

A good Coach is someone who LISTENS, without passing judgement, and EMPOWERS YOU to get the best out of life and achieve your goals.

My passion for autism and other neurodiverse conditions started when my son was diagnosed with autism aged 4.  From that moment, I started to read every book I could find and I haven’t stopped reading, researching, listening and studying since.  He's now 14 and I'm very proud of him and how far he's come.

Like many other parents, I struggled after my son was born.  I knew he was different but I didn’t understand why.  It would upset and confuse me when he showed no interest in other children or the typical things other children would do instinctively.  I thought it was my fault and that impacted my mental health.

What was missing was for someone to tell me "it's not your fault" and to arm me with the right strategies to help me help my son.  I now have enough knowledge and experience to help parents who find themselves in a similar situation.

I’ve learnt so much that I can now share my knowledge with parents of children who are finding things challenging.  I want to help parents make sense of why their child is struggling and provide tools and strategies to empower them.

As well as my experience and knowledge of neurodiverse conditions and mental health, I have over 15 years experience of coaching women to improve their physical and mental wellbeing.  I truly believe that if we get the balance right in our mental and physical health then everything else falls into place.
