Amazing Special Different
My coaching programme focuses on 5 key areas:
Emotions and Behaviour - Believe it or not, there is a process for processing emotions. I can help you understand the process so that you can help your child to understand and process their emotions in the right way, preventing the storage of negative emotions that can be quick to fire up again and again.
Diet - We now know that the gut and the brain are connected. This is otherwise known as the Gut-Brain Axis. Fact: diet impacts behaviour. Together we will look at your child's diet and work together to nourish your child's unique microbiome (gut health) which will lead to improved mental and physical health.
Exercise - Daily exercise is really important when it comes to ASD and other neurological conditions. Exercise boosts neurotransmitters that nourish the brain with dopamine and serotonin, which have a calming and mood enhancing affect. Good muscle tone also helps improve poor coordination and spacial awareness.
Mindfulness - Daily mindfulness is gaining momentum. A fit mind is as important as a fit body. Together we can develop a daily practice that you and your child can do together. Anyone can become more mindful and I can help you do it. It's worth a try if it means you'll both be more in control of your thoughts, feelings and reactions.
Learning - We all have different learning styles. Together we can empower your child to actively listen, focus and concentrate and better retain information. This is through a variety of simple and effective techniques.
Together we can:
